This 1978 Cadillac El Dorado Luxury Coupe with Biarritz trim is in beautiful condition for its age. It has been well-loved and cared for. It has a 425 Cu. In. V-8 Engine with a 3 speed automatic transmission. There were only 2,000 custom classics built in 1978 and only 500 of those had the sunroof. It was purchased with every option you could order in an El Dorado that year, including the Biarritz Trim. As quoted from Hemmings Classic Car All American collector car magazine January 2010, that in a comparison test done between the 1977 Lincoln Mark V vs. the 1978 Cadillac El Dorado custom classic, marketplace and acceleration aside, it was found that the Cadillac to be more outright opulent which is surely a priority when purchasing such a machine. Luxury was engineered in, not slapped on. It has cruise control, power door locks, power steering, sunroof, power seats, tilt steering column, power windows, stereo system, and a CB Radio, all of which work as they should. The heater and air conditioning work well. The interior is most likely leather but for publication we will call it leather-like. It is in very good condition. There are no leaks and fluids are full. There is a spare tire and a car jack. The tires are in good condition. Cadillac hup caps are in good condition with no scratches. The exterior paint is in good condition with very minor swirls. No dents or dings and no rust. This car has been meticulously cared for and was always garaged. This car drives like the day it drove off the dealership lot when new. Its in VERY nice condition....IT IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA TO GET AN INDEPENDENT THIRD-PARTY INSPECTION ON ANY USED CAR. |
